How credits work
Credits are how we measure usage. Most actions cost 1 credit, but some complex operations cost more.

What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 standard document extraction. Complex documents (multi-page PDFs, large images) may consume 2-3 credits. Workflow steps each use 0.5 credits.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard. Changes take effect immediately and we prorate the difference.
What happens if I run out of credits?
API requests will return a 429 error until your next billing cycle or you upgrade. You can also purchase additional credits as a one-time top-up.
Do unused credits roll over?
No, credits reset at the start of each billing period. Choose the plan that matches your monthly volume.
Is there a free trial?
